(No...no number on the National Honduran Adoption Waitlist, yet.)
First some food for thought:
"There is an instinct in a woman to love her own child, and an instinct to make any child who needs her love, her own." Robert Brault
"Motherhood is the greatest potential influence in society. Her caress first awakens in the child a sense of security; her kiss is the first realization of affection; her sympathy and tenderness, the first assurance that there is love in the world." David McKay
"Becoming a mother makes you the mother of all children. From now on each wounded, abandoned, frightened child is yours. You live in the suffering mothers of every race and creed and weep with them. You long to comfort all who are desolate." Charlotte Gray
And now, the recipe for Caramel Cheesecake Pudding:
3 (8 oz) packages of Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
1 (14 oz) can of sweetened condensed milk
1 (5.1 oz) box of instant vanilla JELL-O pudding
2 c milk
1 t vanilla
1 (8 oz) container LITE cool whip, thawed
1/2 c caramel sundae syrup
Beat the cream cheese til creamy and lump free. Slowly pour in the sweet condensed milk and mix til smooth. Alternate adding the pudding mix and the milk, blending slowly between each addition. Add vanilla. Mix well. Mix in cool whip. Layer into a glass trifle bowl or individual serving dishes drizzling the caramel syrup between layers. Chill at least 6 hours. Serve.
