In life, when one door closes, another usually opens.
The trouble is that we can often look with so much regret and longing upon the closed door that we do not see the one which is open for us. Today Knight in Shining Armor and I rest in the belief that God's best for us is something we had not even considered. He is asking us to open our eyes and hearts to something bigger than our own plans...something grand...something that will give Him more glory than we ever could.
Gazing out the window, cruising down "the Adoption Highway" a billboard printed with these words catches our eye:
Be the Difference
At the same times God's voice thunders and lightning strikes, " ...See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut..." Revelation 3:8
Right now, at this very moment, today, there are thousands of children waiting to be adopted. They desire to be a part of a family, but they have not been chosen because they are older (therefore less desirable), or they have siblings, or they have a special medical need. Right now, at this very moment, today, they are living in a foster home or an orphanage just waiting for a family that they fear will never come, hence, the term "waiting children".
They are waiting for LOVE...for ACCEPTANCE...for HOPE...for a FUTURE.
They are ready to be ADOPTED and are waiting to go HOME.
These children are BEAUTIFUL, and they are waiting for someone to BE THE DIFFERENCE in their lives.
They are ready to be ADOPTED and are waiting to go HOME.
We are ready to ADOPT and waiting to get HOME.
They are longing for someone to "BE THE DIFFERENCE".
We have been in "BE THE DIFFERENCE" Boot Camp.
God is good. Praise Him!
