Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives: a Summertime Fave on the "Adoption Highway"

Black Pepper Crusted Smoked Gouda Burgers and Super Simple, Simply Delish Yukon Gold Potato Salad

Burgers:
(2) 1.3 lb packages of 93/7 ground turkey
1 T kosher salt
2-3 T dry minced onion flakes
1/3 c Hunts NO CORN SYRUP Ketchup
1 1/2 t garlic powder
1/4 lb smoked Gouda cheese, diced very small

Combine all ingredients, form into patties of desired size, and coat both sides in fresh cracked pepper. Grill on a sheet of foil to desired doneness. Serve warm and juicy on your favorite hamburger bun along with mayo, green leaf lettuce, beef steak tomato, and roasted vidalia onion slices.

For an extra flavor WOW!, top with our Burger Sauce:

1 c fat full, flavor full DUKES mayo
1/4 t smoky paprika
1/2-1 t fresh lemon juice
1-2 cloves fresh garlic
a squirt of Dijon mustard
Kosher salt to taste

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Chill to blend flavors.

Potato Salad:

5-6 hard boiled eggs, peeled and diced
5 lb bag of Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled, cut into bite sized chunks

Boil the potatoes in heavily salted water til fork tender, drain, and immediately pour on top of 1/4 of a vidalia onion finely minced and 2 stalks of finely minced green celery already in a large bowl. Let the potatoes cool on top of the onions and celery. Once cooled, gently stir onion, celery, and potatoes together. Fold in chopped eggs. Use kosher salt and cracked pepper to season. Stir in lots of fat full, flavor full DUKES mayo to taste. We like lots of mayo to achieve a creamy consistency!
